1. Who we are

This policy covers the website polis.tips, the demo at polis.tips/demo/, Polis.Tips on the App Store, and Polis.Tips on Google Play (package com.fiverpolice).

2. What Polis.Tips is

Polis.Tips is a demonstration and drafting tool. It shows how a digital incident report could look. It is not an official channel of the Swedish Police Authority. You cannot file a police report here. For a real report, use polisen.se. In an emergency, call 112.

3. The website

polis.tips is a static site. It has no account, no payment, and no form that sends a tip or a report to us.

We do not set marketing cookies and we do not run advertising or analytics on this site. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare may process connection data such as IP address, user agent, and the time of the request. That processing is Cloudflare’s, under their own policy, and is limited to hosting the site.

4. The demo

Text you type in the demo stays in that browser tab. It is not sent to LineSpotting AB, to Polismyndigheten, or to any other server. It is discarded when you leave or close the page. The diary number in the demo is fictional.

5. The apps

Polis.Tips on the App Store and Polis.Tips on Google Play let you draft an incident note on the device. We do not operate a server that receives that draft, and the apps do not file it with Polismyndigheten.

The draft stays on the device. It leaves the device only if you yourself share it with your phone’s share function, for example to Messages, Mail, or Files. If you attach a photo, the app uses it on the device for that draft. We do not upload it.

We do not sell personal data. We do not build an advertising profile from the website or the apps. Apple and Google process the store download and any store account under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your store password.

6. If you email us

If you write to [email protected], we use your email address and your message to answer you. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request, and then delete it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you ask us to take before any contract.

7. Legal bases

We process connection logs for the website on the basis of legitimate interest: keeping the site available and secure. We do not use those logs to identify you for marketing. Drafts in the demo and in the apps are handled on your device and are not received by us. We do not use the data for automated decisions that produce legal effects.

8. How long data is kept

We do not store tip text, report drafts, or demo entries. Emails are kept for the conversation and then deleted. Hosting logs follow the host’s retention for security logs.

9. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell or rent personal data. The only processor for the website is the host, Cloudflare, which may process connection data outside the EU under its data-processing terms and standard contractual clauses. We do not give report drafts to the police, because we never receive them.

10. Your rights

If we hold personal data about you, you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, or a copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, at imy.se.

11. Children

Polis.Tips is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The website and the apps do not ask for an account.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, the new text is published on this same page with a new date. This page does not redirect to another policy.

3. Webbplatsen

polis.tips är en statisk sida. Det finns inget konto, ingen betalning och inget formulär som skickar tips eller anmälan till oss.

Vi sätter inga marknadsföringscookies och kör ingen annonsering eller analys på sidan. Sidan ligger hos Cloudflare. För att visa och skydda sidan kan Cloudflare behandla anslutningsuppgifter som IP-adress, user agent och tidpunkt. Det är Cloudflares behandling enligt deras egen policy, och den är begränsad till att drifta sidan.

4. Demon

Text du skriver i demon stannar i den webbläsarfliken. Den skickas inte till LineSpotting AB, till Polismyndigheten eller till någon annan server. Den försvinner när du lämnar eller stänger sidan. Diarienumret i demon är påhittat.

5. Apparna

Polis.Tips i App Store och Polis.Tips på Google Play låter dig skriva ett utkast på enheten. Vi har ingen server som tar emot utkastet, och apparna lämnar det inte till Polismyndigheten.

Utkastet stannar på enheten. Det lämnar enheten bara om du själv delar det med telefonens dela-funktion, till exempel till Meddelanden, Mail eller Filer. En bild du lägger till används på enheten för det utkastet. Vi laddar inte upp den.

Vi säljer inte personuppgifter. Vi bygger ingen annonsprofil från webbplatsen eller apparna. Apple och Google hanterar butiksnedladdningen och ett eventuellt butikskonto enligt sina egna policyer. Vi får inte ditt butikslösenord.

6. Om du mejlar oss

Om du skriver till [email protected] använder vi din e-postadress och ditt meddelande för att svara. Vi sparar korrespondensen bara så länge det behövs för att hantera ärendet, och raderar den sedan. Rättslig grund är vårt berättigade intresse av att svara, eller åtgärder du ber oss om innan ett avtal.

7. Rättslig grund

Anslutningsloggar för webbplatsen behandlas med stöd av berättigat intresse: att hålla sidan tillgänglig och säker. Vi använder inte loggarna för att identifiera dig i marknadsföring. Utkast i demon och i apparna hanteras på din enhet och tas inte emot av oss. Vi använder inte uppgifterna för automatiserade beslut med rättslig verkan.

8. Hur länge uppgifter sparas

Vi lagrar inte tipstext, anmälningsutkast eller demoinmatning. Mejl sparas under konversationen och raderas sedan. Driftloggar följer driftleverantörens lagringstid för säkerhetsloggar.

9. Mottagare och överföring

Vi säljer eller hyr inte ut personuppgifter. Den enda behandlaren för webbplatsen är Cloudflare, som kan behandla anslutningsuppgifter utanför EU enligt sina personuppgiftsvillkor och standardavtalsklausuler. Vi lämnar inte utkast till polisen, eftersom vi aldrig tar emot dem.

10. Dina rättigheter

Om vi har personuppgifter om dig kan du begära tillgång, rättelse, radering, begränsning eller en kopia, och du kan invända mot behandling som stödjer sig på berättigat intresse. Skriv till [email protected]. Du kan också klaga hos Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se.

11. Barn

Polis.Tips riktar sig inte till barn, och vi samlar inte medvetet in personuppgifter om barn. Webbplatsen och apparna ber inte om ett konto.

12. Ändringar

Om policyn ändras publiceras den nya texten på samma sida, med ett nytt datum. Sidan omdirigerar inte till en annan policy.
